Our broodmares are chosen because of distinct qualities and character traits. Some have incredible USEF records and others were chosen to become broodmares early on in life because, as they often say, you breed your best mares and compete your best geldings. Coreen has a deep appreciation for the American Thoroughbred and is acutely aware that a Thoroughbred mare as a dam’s dam is prime genetics for adding lightness, intelligence, and carefulness to the warmblood lineage. We strive to pair breedings that results in horses who have tremendous scope and large movement. To achieve this, we often use frozen semen mostly sourced from various countries throughout Europe but have an appreciation for an American bred horse and when available and appropriate, use stallions that reside within the states.
